Gutsy Swans Lose Close Match
Its been the best part of 2 days since the game finished and still I feel as gutted as I did at 11.15pm Friday Night. To go all the way to Perth and take the game up to the Eagles and lose in that manner hurts. One can't help but think that has cost the Swans its chance at a premiership, but alas things keep on moving and we move onto next weeks home final.
I won't speak too much on the game except to say that I think Nick Davis is hitting good form, Kennelly and Dempster were good out of defence and Jude, Ablett and Kirk stood up again.
West Coast 10.9 (69)
Sydney 10.5 (65)
Goals: Davis, O'Loughlin 3 Hall 2 Schneider, O'Keefe 1
Best Swan On Ground: Nick Davis

Yep, it was a bad result but we have to move on.
Perhaps with the Crows losing, we have an easier path to the GF than otherwise might have been? At least the Swans have support in Melbourne.
That's if they get past Friday night, of course.

I rather of gone to Adelaide than play the Saints in Melbourne and this is coming from a Melbourne based Swans fan. I think basically St Kilda have the most all round talent of the team left in the comp and for us almost impossible to match up upon.
Still I live in hope and if we do indeed make it past Geelong, you never know how the next fortnight will go.
