Breaking News - Maxfield Steps Down as Captain
According to Melbourne radio station SEN and afl.com.au, Stuart Maxfield has stepped down as club captain and been replaced as captain by Brett Kirk for this weeks match, with a final decision on who becomes the new full time captain sometime next week, with Hall, Goodes and Kirk in the mix.
Sad that Stuart had to step down in this way, but his family comes first and he needs to put ALL his focus into that. I think its the right call.
